A four-step plan for America's Jew-hating universities
A simple four-step plan to stop Jew-hating mobs on US university campuses. All that is needed is a spine and a functioning moral compass.
Ever since Hamas’ October 7 pogrom against Israel, many of us have warned that anti-Zionism is the new anti-Semitism, and that the pro-Palestinian movement was just poorly disguised Jew hatred. Sometimes, it is awful to be right.
Events at US university campuses show that being draped in the Palestinian flag’s watermelon colors is the 2024 version of a 1930s brown shirt. University administrators must act with ruthless prejudice. They should have done so months ago. This is a pivotal moment. Here is what they should do:
Step 1: Call the police and have them disperse the Jew-hating mobs, by force if necessary. They should be charged with everything from affray to inciting violence.
Step 2: Expel the students and fire the faculty members involved.
Step 3: Stand by the decision, come hell or high water.
Step 4: Repeat.
Administrators have either been too frightened to do this or are okay with having Jihadist Nazi reprobates on their campuses. Neither speaks well of them. US campuses look disturbingly like Germany under Nazism in the 1930s. If this sounds hyperbolic, you might want to pay attention.
